Pricing / Production investment

What does
a film cost?

Every production is different.
Pricing shouldn’t be mysterious.

the cost of a film?

The standard doesn’t change.
The scope does.

Production investment

C$0Open-ended

Zero marks the axis origin, not an available production price. As requirements grow, investment generally grows.

Different combinations. Not a checklist. An expanded production doesn’t need every dimension to grow. These are examples of scope, not package inclusions.

A documentary may grow through shooting and edit time; a product film through design or VFX; an event through logistics, coverage and deliverables.

Illustrative growth, not a measured cost curve. Focused, Developed and Expanded describe each requirement, not price packages.

Apply this to your project

Explore your project.

Start with what you’re making.
Then shape what it needs.

01 — Choose your service area One primary area. Related work can share a production.
02 — What are you making?

Choose one or more. Each selection counts as one primary deliverable for planning.

Project spans more than one area, or needs several films of the same type? We can scope it together →

03 — Shape the production

A clear starting point is enough. Choose the closest description.

06 — Indicative investment

Your selections will shape the range.

This is a planning tool, not a quote. Requirements combine in different ways. A short conversation lets us confirm how the production should actually be scoped.

Indicative and subject to refinement. Your selections can be edited in the project introduction.

Bring us the idea.
Bring us the brief.
Or bring us the budget.

We can start from any of them.

Let’s talk

A number isn’t a production plan. Together, we’ll find what the film needs and where the investment matters most.

Project
One defined production around a specific objective.
Production partnership
An ongoing relationship with recurring access to Anahata’s production capability. Continuity, not a monthly content quota.

Have a defined budget? We can discuss what’s realistically achievable within it. Not every brief fits every budget.

Before we
begin.

Can we start with a defined budget?

Yes. Tell us the level of investment you have in mind. We can discuss what production approach is realistically achievable within it, where to focus and what might need to change. Not every brief can be made within every budget.

Is the explorer a quote?

No. It combines your selected deliverables, production requirements and additional outputs into an indicative planning range. Requirements interact; a conversation is needed to confirm how the work is produced together and what it will require.

Does the type or length of film set the price?

Neither determines the price on its own. A founder film, product film, event film or documentary can be focused or extensive. What the production requires matters more than its category or finished runtime.

What should I bring to the conversation?

An idea, a brief or a budget is enough to start. Share what the film should accomplish, who needs to see it, where it will live and any timing or production requirements you already know.
